Where oh where did the weekend go?!
Hi all- Well...it must be time to post again. First, I'll start by saying "Happy Birthday!" to Aaron. His birthday is tomorrow (April 21st). We're celebrating by going to "Red Robin." It's opening at Fallen Timbers tomorrow and he has a free birthday coupon for a burger, which is his favorite food. Some friends are meeting us there and it should be a good time! Hopefully the wait won't be too long. Aaron and I went on our first date to "Red Robin." I remember eating in front of him for the first time on July 4, 1998. That was a long time ago!
This weekend, we went to our friend Darryl and Judy's on Friday night. We played euchre, thought my brain was fried and unable to focus. I was constantly asking, "what's trump?" and "who played that?" After the cards, Beth Starr, Judy and I did the "Dancing With The Stars" workout video. I thought it was going to teach us how to ballroom dance, but it was actually a workout with ballroom moves in it. I was laughing so hard...and it was so much fun...I wish I could've watched Beth and Judy looking as silly as I probably did...but the dancing went so fast, you couldn't stop watching! I also made these chili cheese puffs for the occasion which were quite good. We didn't have very many left at the end of the night. http://www.pillsbury.com/Recipes/ShowRecipe.aspx?rid=12464
Yesterday, I went to Macy's in the morning with my $10 off a $25 purchase. I got some cute clothes for a baby shower I'm going to next month. Then I went to the Anderson's Market in Sylvania because it was super sampling day. There were yummy samples everywhere. I came home, got my grocery list ready, and went to Giant Eagle. Then, we went to my Dad's to help them hang blinds. We went to Schlotsky's for dinner ($1.99 for all pizzas on Saturdays after 5),
and then went to the Cassandra School of Ballet dance recital that Sophia was in. Sophia is an awesome teen dancer at our church.
This morning, we went to church and found out that Pastor Scott Estep will be our new pastor at Dayspring (pending a church vote!). I'm so excited. He's preached at Dayspring a few times before and I really like him. I think it will be a great thing for Dayspring. After church, we went to the Johnson's and had a yummy lunch. I played "Rock Band" for the first time. (I tried the drums.) I wasn't adventurous to try anything else. Then we went to Mr. Freeze. So...now I'm trying to get caught up on the wash, and that will be a day.
Good things are on the horizon! Wahoo! Have a good day! Missy :)
