School starts!

Well...school has started. I'm at my 3rd school in 3 days. It' so fun to see the kids again and see if they've changed. This week has been quite busy...with teaching ballet on Tuesday night, and "Scrooge" auditions on Wednesday and Thursday night. I'm getting back into the swing of things of the school/Scrooge schedule. This week has really gone by fast. I can't believe that tomorrow is Friday already! Next Tuesday is Aaron and I's anniversary. It will be 8 years! Doesn't that seem like a long time? We don't have anything super special planned. We'll probably go out to dinner and that is always a treat. I don't know what I'll do on our Monday off! There's nothing on the agenda. Wahoo! Aaron has been getting calls consistently for work so that's awesome. He has 2 potential kitchens lined up, which is always good. Well, I guess that's about all. Have a great day and rejoice always!! I survived!!!

Hi- Well, it seems just like yesterday that I was asking people to pray that I would survive the summer...and I did. I survived! Today was our last day with kids, and I start back in Washington Local on Monday!! I really love my school year job. I miss the teachers, the aides, the kids, and some of the parents! :)

In other news, Aaron get reimbursed over $2,000 from the insurance company for our first break-in of the summer. After talking to other insurance agents, Aaron found out that he was told inaccurate information the first time around, and that he was actually entitled to most of the money. So, after some persistence, we got our money! Wahoo. That is definitely helpful and a blessing to us!

I start teaching adult ballet tonight at the community center. I have never taught adults ballet before, but I'm really looking forward to it. It seems like they'll have more control over their bodies than kids do. I guess we'll see!

I can't believe "Scrooge" auditions happen next weekend already. I'm pondering what part to audition for. I want to be where God wants me to be...or not be.

On the fertility front...there is no update. As usual. Just trust, have faith and pray. I believe in God's perfect timing and I believe that this season is for a reason. Continue to pray for God's will to be done in this area of our life.

I've been praying for closer relationships with friends and God has been faithful to provide friends throughout the summer. ....whether it's going to the coffeehouse with friends on Friday nights, or going out to dinner...or planning a girls weekend away. I look forward to getting to know other women on a deeper level other than the superficial. I need the support and prayer from other sisters in Christ when going through life's struggles (break-ins, infertility, financial troubles).

So...that's the elongated update. Sorry for not writing sooner. I'll probably get back in the groove once I get back to school. Thanks for reading! Love,
Missy

Can you believe it?

Well....the bad guys have come our way again. On Wednesday, Aaron arrived at "the" house that he's been working at for the past many weeks, to find his tools that were inside the house (which was locked) had been stolen. About $1100 worth. He said he goes around to all the windows at the end of the day and locks them and was sure that the doors were locked. He thinks that they may have gotten in through the window. He's in the process of contacting the business insurance but he thinks it won't be covered because he didn't pay extra for the "theft" coverage. If only we would've known.... So, he's bought a THIRD air compressor since his first 2 have been stolen. What's up with all the bad people stealing our stuff? I'm trying to have the right attitude through it all, but I don't quite know what that attitude is supposed to be. I wish that I/we were part of a bible study or CARE group that we knew well that could be there to encourage us or give us advice. We have lots of friends from our old CARE group, but I need some advice from elders in the church on how to handle things like this. We appreciate the support we received from the last break-in! Any verses about what I'm supposed to be thinking through this trial would be greatly appreciated! Love, Missy
